José Ramón Cossío
In addition to his 15 years as Supreme Court Justice, José Ramón Cossío is a member of Mexico’s Colegio Nacional, National Researcher (level III) in the Sistema Nacional de Investigadores.
Former dean of the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) law school, author and coauthor of 25 books on constitutional law, judicial review and constitutional procedure, constitutional and legal history, and writes weekly and monthly columns and op eds. for several newspapers and magazines.
